The Village of Schiller Park desired a train station that could spark redevelopment of a neighboring blighted commercial district and inspire the community as a whole.  Since its existence, this renovated Metra station has contributed to a new identity for the community and enhanced the overall character of its surroundings.

Designed in the Colonial architectural style, we sited the station on the highest portion to showcase the building's prominence and with minimal landscaping, created an attractive tableau.  We selected building materials that required very little maintenance for the Village, while being durable for the future, proving that beauty is possible... even within a fairly limited budget.
