The Village of Schiller Park desired a train station that could spark redevelopment of a neighboring, blighted commercial district and inspire a community as a whole.  Since its existence, this new Metra station has surely helped to shape the i community's identity and enhance the character of the surrounding neighborhood.

Designed in the Colonial architectural style, we sited the facility on the highest portion of the site to ensure the building's prominence and with minimal landscaping, created an attractive tableau.  We selected building materials that required minimal maintenance by the Village, while being durable for the long-term, proving that beauty is possible... even within a fairly limited budget.
